My name is Kevin Barker and I am a voiceover artist. Having navigated a very successful career in international sales, marketing and commercial & supply chain management you could say I've been fine-tuning my voice into its current warm, smooth and engaging tone for the last 40 years.
Following retirement and many years of public speaking with feedback complimenting my voice I was inspired to research the voice-over world and embarked on a new journey. An evolution of my career that built on my experience and talent, taking me in an exciting and fresh new direction. It's very much a personal renaissance for me and one I am thoroughly enjoying. As the great Michelangelo said, “Ancora imparo”, I am still learning.

Commercial
My voice is suited to all forms of commercial voice-over – from television and radio to online and social media. My clients vary tremendously and include: local and national independent radio and television companies as well as digital advertising agencies; but I'm equally very happy working directly with in-house marketing teams.
Narrative
My warm and engaging tone is also ideal for corporate documents such as annual reports and all types of recorded guides; from tourism explainer to educational healthcare. Companies seeking my narrative voice-over include healthcare and medical technology, corporate bodies, app developers, private medical insurers, hospitals, schools and local councils.

I offer a typically standard English accent known as received pronunciation, sometimes referred to as Oxford English, Queen’s English or BBC English and understood to be neutral.
